Frank Towers Jr., veteran Frank Towers’ son, just sent Marie-T. Lavieille one “My Memories of WWII” copy written by his father shortly before he passed away and which has just been published.
These are the words chosen by the author as an epilog :

I take great pride in having been the inspiration for having initiated the great organization « Les Fleurs de la Mémoire », the members of which are quite prevalent in the Normandy area. It makes me happy to know that I played a small part in the co-founding of this organization, with my very good friend Claude Lavieille, now deceased, which will continue to pay tribute to our American heroes who lie in peaceful rest in the Normandy and Brittany Cemeteries and who will be honored in perpetuity.

May they never be forgotten !
